How to Set Up IPTV on Smart TV Using Smart IPTV App (SIPTV)

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 128 views

IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) delivers TV channels via the internet instead of traditional satellite or cable methods. With the Smart IPTV app (SIPTV), you can stream IPTV content on various smart TVs, including LG, Samsung, and Sony. This app supports features like EPG, Picons, and channel grouping, making it a versatile tool for IPTV users. To enjoy these features, you’ll need to upload an M3U URL or file that includes the necessary options.

Important Note:
Samsung has discontinued the SIPTV app from the Samsung Apps store.

Steps to Set Up IPTV with SIPTV

  1. Download the Smart IPTV App
First, download the SIPTV app from your Smart TV’s store. The app offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial, you can purchase the full version via in-app transactions or on the website.

  2. Locate Your TV MAC Address
Open the app and note your TV MAC address displayed on the screen for the next step.

  3. Upload Your M3U URL

    • Visit the SIPTV Playlist Uploader.

    • Enter your TV MAC address and the M3U URL you received from your IPTV provider.

    • Select “Keep Online” and press “Add Link”. Using the M3U URL is recommended for updates, rather than a static M3U file.

  4. Restart the App
Once the playlist is uploaded, restart the SIPTV app, and your IPTV channels should appear on the screen.

Troubleshooting SIPTV
If you need to unlock adult content, try using the following passwords: 0000, 1234, or 1122.
