How to Update MAG Box Firmware – Complete Guide (Online & USB Methods)

Why Update Your MAG Box?

Keeping your MAG Box updated ensures optimal performance and access to the latest features. Here’s how to update via internet or USB.

🌐 Online Update Method

1️⃣ Trigger Update Mode

• Disconnect internet cable

• Reset your MAG box

• Wait for “Page Loading Error”

• Reconnect internet cable

2️⃣ Start Update

• Select “Embedded Portal” for automatic update

• If automatic fails: Press SET → “Software Update” → OK → F1

⚠ Note: Some updates may reset portal settings

💾 USB Update Method

1️⃣ Prepare USB Drive

• Download correct firmware from:
  http://update.infomir.com/mag/[MODEL]/imageupdate
  (Replace [MODEL] with your device number, e.g., 322)

2️⃣ Create Update Folder

• Make folder named mag[MODEL] in USB root

• Place imageupdate file inside

3️⃣ Install Update

• Insert USB → Go to:
  Settings → System Settings → Software Update

• Set Update Method = USB

• Verify file → Press Update (F1)

• Wait for automatic reboot (don’t disconnect power!)
